Wow, over two years since a post on this blog. Well this one is about autism.  There is a saying that if you have met one person with autism, you have met one person with autism.  I am going to add to that and say if you have met one person with autism's support system, then you have met one person with autism's support system.  People just have different families and workplaces and schools and medical care.  Some is good, some is not so good, sometimes there is acceptance, sometimes there is rejection. Some workplaces hire people with autism and give good accommodations, some people are mean and can't even treat their customers properly.  Some autistic people have community and friends, and some are being tortured.  That is the only thing I have to say. I just thought it was mildly clever because of that quote.
